There have been changes to the way the Summer Eats programs are administered this year. Over the past few years, the USDA issued waivers that allowed WPS to do free pickup and grab-and-go meals. Those waivers expired with the end of the official end of the COVID emergency. Summer Meals sites now require the child to be present for the meal pickup, and that meals be eaten at the distribution site. In addition, some sites may only have meals available for children or teens participating in programs at the site. For the most accurate information, contact the distribution site directly at the phone number provided.
