Meals on Wheels
Information Presented on Behalf of Worcester Area Elder Services
This is a federally sponsored home delivered meal service administered locally to deliver well-balanced, lunchtime meals to homebound individuals who are at least 60 years of age. Participants are asked to make $2.50* donation per meal to help defray the cost of the meal.
Elder Services delivers hot lunches to individuals living in the Worcester area. Meals are delivered Monday-Friday and depending on the client’s needs can include:
- Regular hot meals
- Modified meal for diabetics
- Supper meals
- Frozen meals
Kosher and therapeutic meals are available in the City of Worcester, frozen therapeutic meals are available in all towns.
