The loss of major full service supermarkets in parts of Worcester made it difficult for residents in some areas to buy groceries. In response to this need, Worcester Regional Transit Authority (WRTA) and Central Mass Regional Planning Commission worked together to map bus routes that stop at grocery stores and supermarkets in Worcester and surrounding towns.
